Homeschool Wrap-Up: Week One

Well, we completed our first week back in school!  Things didn’t always go as planned, but then do they ever? We didn’t start as early as I would’ve liked some days and we had to take an extended break here and there, but that is one of the benefits of homeschooling. It is especially beneficial for Beauty; to be able to take a break when her body and mind have just had enough. We had to have a shortened day on Wednesday because the night before both kids were stung by a wasp on their writing hands. One cannot write easily with swollen hands and fingers. We got it all done, though, in the end and both kids seem to be engaged and learning. Here’s praying it stays that way!
